VA Water LLC‘s reverse osmosis water treatment uses changes in pressure to filter out chemicals and contaminants from your water supply. Over the years, this method has become much more advanced than before, and modern treatment solutions deliver the highest quality water to your home for years with relatively little maintenance.
As pressure is applied to your water in the reverse osmosis water treatment system, it is pressed through a semi-permeable membrane that filters out hard water, bacteria, and anything that causes pH imbalance. As a result, you get:
- Water that’s clear and looks amazing
- Freshwater that tastes great
- Water that’s free from any foul odor
- Long-term sustainability for your pipes and fixtures
Water treatment technology has made treatment easier than ever, and VA Water LLC has a large supply of different tank sizes and treatment system components to make your water treatment more efficient, all while maintaining the right water pressure.

- We can typically connect to your fridge for delicious cold water and crystal clear ice cubes
- Unique and elegant chrome or brushed nickel faucet styles.
- Optional electronic faucet indicates when filters and membrane need to be replaced.
- The system is expandable if additional filters need to be added.
- Additional filter selections are available, including higher capacity sediment, or a Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) rated filter.
- The membrane can be upgraded to a 75 gallon per day membrane.
- Adaptor kits are available to easily add a permeate pump system, which provides improved flow rates at the faucet.
When you call us about our reverse osmosis water treatment, we’ll send a technician to your property to test your water quality and inspect whatever is currently in place and talk to you about your options. We keep our clients informed so they can make the best decisions for their properties. Once we agree on the right solution and you understand the benefits, we’ll get started creating an incredible reverse osmosis water treatment system that delivers chemical and contaminant-free water to your home.

They worked diligently and were able to complete the job in five hours.
I haven’t had a chance to experience the filtered water in the shower, laundry or cleaning yet, but the RO tap water tastes 100% better than the city water.
I would highly recommend VA Water for your full-home water filtration system. Brandon and Santos did a great job. Thank you.

I filled out the service request form on their website, and within 15 minutes or less, Vlad called me, and we discussed what my service needs were. I sent pictures of my system to him, and he told me what he suspected and sent me a quote for service with an hour. Once I approved and signed the service quote, we scheduled a service visit for about 6 days later.
The next morning, I received an unexpected call from Vlad, saying they had a cancellation in their schedule and he could come out to service my system this morning! He arrived on time and confirmed the issue with my system. As he was completing the work, he ran into an unexpected problem. Right away, he took care of the additional problem and had everything back together and working. My system is now operating exactly as it should be!
He even took the time to make sure I understood exactly how to program the system and what to do if we ever have an extended power failure. Even though he had to do some additional work that wasn't part of the scheduled service, he did not add additional charges to my bill.
Outstanding, professional service, and I would highly recommend if you need service on your water treatment system, or if you are considering purchasing a softener or full treatment system, be sure to give VA water a call! They have a lifetime warranty on systems they sell and install. I only wish I had found them sooner!read more

Frequently Asked Reverse Osmosis Questions:
What is reverse osmosis?
Reverse Osmosis (RO) is a water purification process that uses a partially permeable membrane to remove unwanted molecules and particles from drinking water.
What does reverse osmosis remove?
Reverse Osmosis removes common chemical contaminants such as:
- sodium
- chloride
- copper
- chromium
- lead
Some systems may also reduce:
- arsenic
- fluoride
- radium
- sulfate
- calcium
- magnesium
- potassium
- nitrate
- phosphorous
How much is reverse osmosis system?
A Reverse Osmosis System cost depends on the type of system you’re looking to purchase. Under sink reverse osmosis systems range from $250 to $7,500. Whole house reverse osmosis systems range from $1,000 – $18,000. System costs depend on a number of factors but are most closely tied to the amount of water that needs to be filtered per day.
How to remineralize water after reverse osmosis?
You can remineralize water after reverse osmosis filtering through various methods. Most modern reverse osmosis systems include a remineralization tank that takes care of adding minerals back into your water for you.
How to make reverse osmosis water alkaline?
You can make reverse osmosis water alkaline by adding alkaline minerals and raising the ph of your filtered water.
What is not removed by reverse osmosis?
What is not removed by reverse osmosis may surprise some. While RO filters will reduce a wide range of contaminants from your water, it will not remove some pesticides, solvents, volatile organic chemicals VOCs (like chlorine and radon), dissolved gases (ammonia, carbon dioxide, oxygen, hydrogen sulfide), and organic contaminants (such as formaldehyde, methanol, acetonitrile, methyl ethyl ketone, etc.).
How much water does reverse osmosis waste?
Reverse osmosis wastes on average about 4 gallons of water per gallon made. If you use 3 gallons a day for drinking, cooking and internal consumption, that means you will waste about 12 gallons, making a reverse osmosis system about 25% efficient. Comparatively, a washing machine and dishwasher use electricity and hot water (which takes energy to heat) and waste every gallon of water they use.
